Dexter

Hi, just wanted to let you know that Dexter is doing really well!  Over the last 6 months he has settled easily into his new life and has responded amazingly well to the injections our vet recommended for his back knees.  When he first came to us he was limping a lot and could not go very far on his walks.  But now he is able to walk for kilometres on end, and really only limps when he gets up after lying down for a long time.  We're just thrilled that he's been able to improve so much, and we all really enjoy our walks together (some pics attached).

Dexter is such a sweet and loving dog, it's truly a joy to have him around.  My mom who looks in on him when my husband and I are both at work says that seeing him is always one of the highlights of her day.  It's so cute how he runs around in circles when we come home!  And he has been great with all of our extended family, especially our two year old nephew who joyfully yells 'Ecksa!!' whenever he sees him.

We love having Dexter as part of our family, and are just so impressed with everyone at the Brant SPCA, and the wonderful job you are doing there.  Thanks so much!

sucessfull adoption's

Thank you Brant County SPCA

I adopted my first cat Marley from the Brant County SPCA on March 14th 2011. I went to buy my dog some biscuits at the Ancaster PetSMART and there he was ! They had a bunch of cages set up with animals to be adopted and he just called out to me.His name was nutcracker at the time he had been at the shelter since before Christmas. Next thing I knew I was coming home with a cat. Marley soon got used to being part of the family and he now loves his best friend Kaiser our 11 year old Eurasier. I call Marley a circus cat because he can climb anything open cupboard doors and balance on the tiniest  of ledges.

Adoption number 2 Brant County SPCA Sept 2012 they had a abundance of cat's for adoption decided to take a look : ) fell in love with a small black and white female cat. Adopted her but had to wait a week before we could take her home so she could be spayed. Visited everyday and took some of Marley's toys for her to snuggle with in the cage. We called her Ziggy ! Marley and Ziggy get along famously . You would swear they are related somehow .

Thank you again BRANT COUNTY SPCA

We are one big happy family!
