Libby's Success Story

Hello Brant County SPCA!

This is our four month update for a wonderful black DSH named Libby! Living in Hamilton, we found Libby at your satellite adoption site in Ancaster. Among the ten cats on display, Libby was easily distinguishable as she stared in jealousy at the little kittens. In fact, she didn't catch both of our attentions at first - it was only after we took her out to play that we knew she was the cat for us. We now understand her jealous stares: being a big kitty herself, she is mischievous, curious and playful, and wants nothing more than attention!

Today, after many new toys, a carpet palace, a new diet and her own spot on the bed, we are a happy family. The once quiet and soft-spoken Libby quickly turned into a very open, loving and vocal cat! Libby likes to let us know exactly how she feels every time we say her name, and she loves attention so much that you simply have to look at her to get her purring. We would like to thank Brant County SPCA for bringing her into our lives, and for your care for Libby during what she considers a transition period in her life. Libby can now look forward to a life full of love and attention because of the fine work that many people at the SPCA performed.

Sincerely,
Mike, Laura and Libby
